Launch Rules:

• Please contact MDRA BOD prior to planning any large flights, high altitude flights, or certification attempts.  
• All high power flights (except OddRocs) must be flown from a rail.  MDRA strongly encourages that rails are used for F & G flights as well.  
• For L1 & L2 cert attempts, MUST fill out the form at the bottom of the Certifications page no later than the Wednesday before a launch. 
• Please note that MAX altiitude at Higgs Farm is 5000ft for 2025/2026 season.
• Please note that MAX altitude at the Sod Farm is 3000ft.  
• Single deploy (chute at apogee) max altitude 2,000ft.  Anything over 2,000ft must be traditional dual deploy or chute release.   MDRA BoD may make exceptions as needed.  
• Maximum altitudes are only possible when ideal weather conditions permit.  Please plan your flights accordingly.
• Please print out Flight Cards to minimize activity at registration and RSO tables. The pre-printed flight cards are also available under “flyers Info” menu item.
• MDRA membership cards are required to fly, and a valid TRA/NAR ID is required for High Power Flights.
• No RC aircraft or drones allowed.
• Please maintain 5mph on driveway (or as posted) and be extra careful of children playing
• Please be aware of children and adults retrieving rockets
• Park ONLY in designated parking areas
• No driving on any field under any circumstances
• Do not wander off the property without getting permission from MDRA BoD
• No Camping
• Take your trash with you
• Be safe
